WE ARE GHMC

A welcoming community walking with God to create a more peaceful and just world by cultivating curiosity, creativity and compassion.

"The poet Donald Hall referred to a church he attended in New Hampshire as a 'little hive of goodness.' When I read that several years ago, I immediately thought of Glennon Heights. No congregation of humans is perfect, but much of the activity at Glennon Heights is directed towards the good – encouraging people to recognize and respond to the needs of others and revel in the wonder of creation. Glennon Heights resonates with my family, school, and work lives and provides a spiritual home for reflection and growth."

MISSION AND VISION

Our Mission

  • A welcoming community walking with God to create a more peaceful and just world by cultivating curiosity, creativity & compassion.

Our Vision

  • Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we envision growth, building a community of faith which practices constructive responses to conflict; and, in a world driven by fear, promoting a Christian voice of love and nonviolence.

"I love Glennon Heights because it offers me a second family, a safe space where I am loved and cared for. Glennon Heights is the right decision for me, though, because it's a place that also pushes me to grow into my own faith. At church, I've learned to love and care for my church family in return as well as other people around me."

Glennon Heights is my extended family who offer love and care during both good and bad times. I also appreciate Pastor Ryan's inspiring messages.

I love the community and service aspects of Glennon Heights. The church is quick to make newcomers feel truly welcome. Through weekly activities, as well as organizations that we support, I see the commitment of the congregation to caring for each other, our local community, and the broader world.
